A new and exciting venture for Clacton Concert Orchestra!

Blow the Dust Off 

Did your instrument get left in the attic?
Under that pile in the garage?
On a shelf at the back of the cupboard?
Well, you could… Blow the Dust Off!

We invite anyone with an instrument to take it out of the case, dust it off, and join fellow musicians in forming a training orchestra called Blow the Dust Off

Come and join us on Tuesday evenings for an hour of music making at Sam’s Hall, Imperial House, Rosemary Road, Clacton-On-Sea CO15 1NZ, from 6-7 pm. Cost is £5.00 per session, under 18 £2.50 per session.

The training orchestra is open to players of any instrument, level or style. No experience or graded music exams necessary: just a love of music!

We will have our fantastic young conductor, Francis Garland and some of the Clacton Concert Orchestra players at hand to guide you in this amazing opportunity to play with other people and to experience the joy of making music together.

Every year, in July, we hold a free workshop “Blow or Scrape”. It is a fun event for music lovers of all ages interested in playing an instrument. See below some pictures of our  event in 2018.
